How to Measure a Overcoat
1. COLLAR:
Measure around the base of the collar where it sits on the neck. Ensure the collar is laid flat without stretching.
2. SHOULDER:
Measure across the back from one shoulder seam to the other, keeping the shirt flat and wrinkle-free.
3. SLEEVE LENGTH:
Measure from the shoulder seam down to the end of the cuff. Make sure the sleeve is fully extended and smooth.
4. CHEST:
Measure across the chest from armpit to armpit, ensuring the shirt is laid flat without wrinkles.
5. WAIST:
Measure across the waist area of the shirt, keeping the garment flat and aligned.
6. HEM WIDTH:
Measure across the bottom of the shirt from one side to the other.
7. CUFF:
Measure the width of the cuff from one edge to the other while laid flat.
8. SHIRT LENGTH:
Measure from the highest point of the shoulder down to the bottom hem of the shirt.
